SiteRay 3.0.2 is a minor maintenance release of SiteRay. It addresses various medium and low priority issues and is recommended for all users.

Release date

Released 6th May 2009.

Improvements

  • Added "Missing data" warning for Developers when a report fails to contain data, e.g. due to database corruption.
  • Added "Result data" display to "Report log" screen, containing full breakdown of volume of data stored for each report.
  • The Spelling test now explains when it skips a page due to a language not being supported.
  • The Search engine placement test now considers two sites with / without a www. prefix as equivalent. See Search engine results appear to be wrong.

Changes

  • New installs now use the default "silktide" user/shared password system, introduced in SiteManager 7 RC5.
  • Added name of Report Type to the list of Reports under the Websites tab.
  • Increased maximum screenshot size for high-resolution displays.
  • Increased maximum dashboard size from 100 to 400 websites.
  • Clarified Readability explanation to state that text should be English.

Fixes

  • Fixed rare crash when viewing some large table results on PHP5 servers.
  • Fixed crash when adding new custom menu items as an Administrator.
  • Fixed permissions for custom menu options not applying to Anonymous (demo) users.
  • Fixed potential security exploit with report cleanup.
  • Removed defunct "New test", "Options" buttons from Developer Test area.
  • Made WebTrends test self-install by default (but disabled).
  • Fixed the word "Sitescore" appearing on rare conditions for Spelling test.
  • Fixed Test Server crashing whole report if a single dependent test (not a task) failed with uninitialised dependencies. Meant that rare crashes could fail a whole report, now fixed.
  • Fixed glitch where if a screenshot was requested to rebuild, but had previously failed, it would display incorrectly the message "Screenshot cannot be automatically generated". However this wouldn't stop the screenshot from trying to be rebuilt as normal.
  • Fixed issue where Spelling test could crash for certain RTL languages.
  • Fixed issue where URLs with leading spaces would be parsed as relative.
  • Fixed normaliser not accepting query parameters containing a period (".").
  • Fixed "Sitescore" appearing in title tag for reports.
