Why does SiteRay keep changing?

To fix problems
SiteRay regularly encounters new challenges, as we test more websites (currently over half a million). For example, we've encountered problems – and fixed them – like obscure free Dutch Analytics tools not being detected.
Because the Internet keeps changing
SiteRay is always aiming to test for current best practice. The Internet changes quickly, and techniques for things such as Search Engine Optimisation change very frequently. We aim to keep up with this trend.
SiteRay is getting smarter
We pool together all of the feedback from our customers, and the statistics we continue to gather from all sources, and use this to refine the testing process. As with Google continually improving their search algorithms, we continually aim to improve our testing process.
To add new features
We listen to our customers, and we’re always working on improvements such as new tests, better export features, integration with public standards and more.
How regularly?
SiteRay is updated about 3-4 times a year, by default for all of our customers. You can keep up with the latest and forthcoming changes on this wiki.
From SiteRay 3.0 the latest changes to SiteRay will be announced in advance from within the application itself, and on our blog.
